Wander a little longer as the world decays

A Preacher and a Wytch. A Boy, a Girl, and a Mob. A Wayfairer, and a Crow. A Wanderer, and the hole at the centre of all things.

In an Australia not quite our own, a ritual has given accursed, never-ending life to its inhabitants. Those who are left either go Rabid or go Dull, and only a few are willing to try what it takes to undo the curse.

Hollow

Children aren’t given names in the Wastes until they’ve done something of note. The chances of the girl surviving to that point are slim. Fog blankets the land, and within the shadows lurk the Hollow, cosmic horrors intent on draining souls of the living and creating more wandering, skeletal husks. Humanity cowers under the light of the Beacons, trying to eke out a meaningful existence. But when the protective dome over her village fails, the girl is thrust into the dark Wastes on a terrifying journey of survival. But those who shine brightest hide dark hearts, those tasked with protecting humanity may have strayed terribly far from the light to achieve their goals, and those soulless monsters that stalk the shadows might once have been something more.

Challenging the notion of the heroic obligations of those with the power to make change in a failing world, this fantasy-horror from a new voice in the genre will grip you until the final, dark page.
